I am looking forward to another great week! I can't wait to "see" all my students through digital learning this week. If your family is in need of ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to reach out. Good Morning!!
Happy Friday! Today is our last day of digital learning before we head into spring break. I hope everyone gets to take some time over spring break to disconnect from the devices we have been glued to while working remote. Many people, like myself, have had their spring break plans canceled but that does not mean you still can't have an awesome, relaxing, and fun spring break! I encourage you and your families to find something new and fun to do at home. Explore the backyard, find a new game to play, build a blanket fort on a rainy day, paint a room of the house, or plant a garden! I would LOVE to see all the fun things you find. Send me a picture or a few of what you do over spring break and I will make a little presentation for the kids to share after spring break. I hope everyone is ready for another week of digital learning leading into spring break! I saw this post the other day on facebook and thought it was very fitting: It was March 2020... The streets were deserted, the stores closed, and the people couldn't get out of their houses anymore... But spring had no clue! The rosebuds started to bloom, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the swallows were to be returning very soon. The sky was blue. The students had to do digital learning, and find some chores to do at their homes. People couldn't got shopping anymore, nor go to the hairdresser. Hospitals filled up and people kept getting sick. But spring had no clue! It was time to garden and work the yards, and the trees started waking up and getting green again. Before we know it, this will all be a memory. This is when summer arrived! Because spring had no clue! She kept going despite the virus, despite fear, despite death. Because spring had no clue! He taught people the will and power of life. Everything is going to be okay. Continue to be safe and stay healthy. Although my seasonal allergies might despise the green/yellow dust that is everywhere, my eyes are happy to see the beauty in spring! I hope everyone has a great Monday and an even better week! Hopefully a little bit or rain will wash away this pollen! To Do Today: Blue Math:
