Please note that there will be no visitors on testing days between the hours of 7-12.
While we will not be giving summative assessments during Milestone Testing, we will still give other graded assignments such as classwork grades and unannounced formative assessments. We will not be assigning any at home projects during this time. Any projects assigned will be done in class only.
Relay for Life: Kids Night out! Please consider signing your child up for Kids Night Out Spring edition! This is a very fun night and supports a great cause!
Class Pictures: I have a few extra class pictures that are still for sale for $14. First come, first serve until we are out :)
We are learning about unit 7- Geometry and the coordinate plane . In this unit, we will cover Coordinate planes and functions . Test will be after milestones in May.
We will be learning more about expressions and equations. We will continue to learn about how to solve algebraic equations and will expand this knowledge to include solving inequalities. We will test over this unit after Milestones.
We have started working on 6th grade unit 7. In this unit, we will work with integers. We have already learned how to order integers, how to find absolute value, and how to add and subtract integers. We will be practicing these skills this week. We will also learn how to multiply and divide by integers. We will test over this unit after Milestones.
We will be learning about the Cold War and the Civil Rights Movement. While we learn this unit, we will also briefly be discussing the decades that follow these important historical movements. We will not test over this unit until after Milestones.
