However, I do hope that you are able to get some pledges in order to raise money for our school! Students get prizes based on the money they are able to raise. This program has amazing benefits to Dolvin and I hope everyone has fun!! The fun run is Thursday, March 1st and parents are invited to come and watch!

We have started working on 6th grade unit 6. This is our statistics and probability unit. So far, we have learned about measures of center. We will continue to learn about the different graphs we can create with this data as well. We will test over this unit on March 20th.
We have just started learning about WWII. We will discuss the causes of this war as well as the main events and people involved in the war. While this is a great unit full of historical rich content, it is also a very sad unit with some events that have effected some students and their cultures. Please have a discussion with your child about respect for history and how it had negative impacts on several cultures. Students are to be respectful throughout the unit. Our test date for this unit will be March 8th.
Check back every week for a new post with information about the coming week.
