Welcome back after basically a second winter break :). I hope everyone stayed safe on the icy roads and had fun playing in the snow! Please read below for some important weekly updates: Lunch Bunch: If your child is signed up for lunch bunch, that will take place this Wednesday. They need to have read the whole book and must bring the book with them in order to participate. 5th grade picture:Our 5th grade picture will take place this Thursday. Students will be getting their 5th grade t-shirt on Thursday morning to wear during the picture. Pie Wars! This week is Pie Wars! This is a Relay for Life event where we will try to raise as much money as we can for the American Cancer society. For this event, students can bring money and put it in the teachers bin that they want to see get pied in the face! The teacher with the most money at the end of the week will get a big pie in the face :). Teacher bins for donations will be located on the stage in the cafeteria. Any and all donations are appreciated! (No foreign currency or chuck-E-cheese coins as we can not deposit those). Team Dolvin has participated in Relay for Life for many years. It is a group of dedicated teachers who create events to raise money for the Relay for Life event and American Cancer Society. Many of us are even willing to get pied in the face if it means raising money for cancer research! You can also donate online. If you would like it to go towards a teacher for Pie Wars, please include their name in the comments.
